That is exactly what I tell my husband Brian!! He was asked to help out and take a horse in the ring for a Champion of Champions class and this is what he did!!
Brian tries to claim beginners luck. I told him that I think not...lol So don't be surprised if you see hum trimming a horse one minute and in the show ring the next!
